Embroidery is taking my inspiration of life, love, family and friends and expressing it with threads. Turning it into artwork. Growing up on a dairy farm meant everyone in the family had an important role – there were no small unimportant roles. I believe that is true in life, love, family, friends, embroidery and running it as a business.

There are many things that you don’t plan but life experiences and choices prepare you for opportunities. Several years ago, I went to a shop looking for a way to add to my quilts. Little did I know; how this was the beginning of my journey with embroidering and digitizing. This is a new chapter in my book of “LIFE”. Some parts of it reads like a thriller, cliff hanger, sappy love story, and a tragedy. I am never sure what’s around the bend – what design will be the best seller, what stranger will turn out to be my best friend, what terrible thing that will happen and how it will lead me to my hearts delight. For now, I’ll keep learning new things, trying them out, keep an open mind, and enjoy the Present; today.
